The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% Review

This post is sponsored by none other than the amazing team of Crimson Luxe. Now they sent me a few of the products of The Ordinary to try and review for you guys so you can get a better idea of how these famous product work. I always wanted to try the AHA peeling solution and few other products so when Crimson Luxe offered me this opportunity I was happy to do so.

I have separated the post in two parts, here I have reviewed one product and the other two are already up on the blog. I have tried and tested out these products for a month so I am gonna share my experience plus what the brand says about the products.

Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% Multi-functional brightening formula

Product Description: Found in grains, Azelaic Acid is produced naturally by yeast that lives on normal skin. It brightens the skin tone while visibly improving the evenness of skin texture and reducing the look of blemishes. It is a multi-functional support ingredient for all skin types and also acts as an effective antioxidant. This formula offers a very high 10% concentration of high-purity Azelaic Acid in a lightweight cream-gel system.

My Experience: This review I am doing separate is because I have lot to say about this one but all good. Infact this product surprised me the most among all three. One thing is clear that when The Ordinary says this product does this its true, whatever claims they have for products the product does all those things quite well.

This one is for textured and blemish skin which I suffer from. My skin darkens in some areas making my skin look uneven and I have texture on my cheeks and old acne marks and moles so my skin does look weird if I directly go with a foundation. My skin has a bumpy texture to it which I don’t like and a lot of primers don’t work on me since I have dry skin.

This one just instantly makes me love my skin. The moment I apply this my skin looks brighter, feels and looks smooth and the foundation goes on super smooth on top. This also doesn’t emphasis my dry patches. Infact I think this works great as a primer. The only thing is you really have to use a sunscreen on top but using of sunscreen is important anyway so that doesn’t feel like a con to me.

You can use this cream day and night both times or once depending on your needs. I prefer this in the day more then night. The consistency of this is quite gel like and not heavy on the skin and also has a nice fragrance which doesn’t really linger. I feel like this will work for all skin types even sensitive skin since this works great for me without causing any irritation. Regular use of this will lighten your scars and marks, but that does take time so be patient.

I also love the packaging, its simple and cute and so light weight you can carry it around in your hand bag if you want to.

I would totally recommend this. Infact I am gonna repurchase this and keep a back up because I love it that much. If you have dull and textured skin I would say definitely give this a try.

My Ratings:

We all know there are lot more brands of skincare and makeup which are not readily available in India and even if the brand gives international shipping it comes with the headache of extra costs and always a burden of random customs. Crimson Luxe helps you get the international products without any of the hassle at an affordable rate and with the bonus of really amazing service.

I have been buying a lot of international products from Crimson Luxe over a period of time with my own money. Products from brands like Colourpop, Elf and Anastasia and Pixie. The service I get is the best part for me. This post may be sponsored but I genuinely love shopping from them. So definitely go check them out and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

*P.S: All opinions are my own and honest. The above-mentioned products were given to me by Crimson Luxe and this post is sponsored by them. But that in no way changes or alters my opinions on these products. What works for me may not work for you. Trying before buying is always recommended. Check out a few reviews until your satisfied.
