For Reference: I have dry and flaky under eyes and I have dark circles because I suffer from Insomnia. I don’t have that much hollowness but I’m getting there. I also have a lot of creasing underneath thats why for me an under eye cream is a must and I started using a year or so ago and I do test out different ones for review purposes. Also I have extra sensitive eyes so I tend to stay away from really strong or scented eye creams/serums.

Packaging:

The tub comes in a cardboard outer box which is green in color and has all the information printed on it. The tub doesn’t have a lot of information just the ingredients and manufacturing details. The price and dates are on the box. The tub is actually really cute and compact and of good quality. Green bottom with black screw cap/lid. A lot of people don’t like tub packaging since its unhygienic but if you are careful it works. I don’t mind either and I really like the tub. Its light weight enough to travel with. Also it doesn’t break easily saying that with experience.

My Experience:

If you read the description you would see that the brand talks about hydration and nourishment and thats it nothing more so its not making any other promise other then really hydrated under eyes and it is full filling this promise.

Now when I first started using this I saw that it did really hydrate my under eyes and and it looked smooth. It wasn’t greasy in anyway, it just look proper moisturized but then I started feeling thats it, why isn’t anything else happening because this cream is expensive so I was expecting a lot more so I checked a few reviews on this eye cream and somehow all of them loved it and I was like why it isn’t that special like any under eye cream will hydrate its not that big a deal but then one of the person who reviews I read told me to stop using it and then see how you feel so after using it for a month and a half I stopped and I instantly missed it. Like really I was like my under eye looked more ashy then usual. I hated using concealer since it started creasing a lot more that’s when I realized okay so the cream was really working and I just took it for granted. So basically this under eye cream is just that when you stop using it you will see the difference the cream is doing for you.

Now as for the formula its super light weight. Its not greasy at all. Even though its a cream the consistency feels like a gel. I really like the hybrid feeling of cream and gel doesn’t feel heavy even if you apply it under makeup. I like using this day and night since its really hydrating without feeling greasy. Doesn’t move your concealer either infact it goes on much smoother. If you have oily under eyes you would still like it. Also it doesn’t have strong scent to it so if you have sensitive eyes you can still use it.

I use other eye creams too but I always keep coming back to this because I seriously love it and it did take me a while to reach there so with this one you need patience. It has reduced my creasing since its giving me full hydration my under eye don’t crease as much since dry under eye cause wrinkles much faster I feel this is stopping or atleast slowing down that process for me. But it doesn’t work for reducing darkness or pigmentation at all. It just really hydrates and nourishes your under eyes and thats it.

How I like using it: I like taking a pea size amount on my ring finger and massaging it around my eye in circular motion. I feel thats the best way to use this. Also this doesn’t interact in any bad way with your other creams or serums.

My Recommendation:

If your major concern is dry under eyes then this is it for you go for it but if your major concern is pigmentation or darkness or hollowness then skip it.

My Rating: 4/5

{This one does make me happy and it took a while to get there but I do love it and see myself repurchasing this when I’m done with this}
