Indrani Cosmetics Body Care

Today’s review is about a few body care products from Indrani Cosmetics I received from them to do a review. The brand is Indian and they have a huge range of products in different categories. They also send me a facial kit which I still have to try. Now coming to their products they do have an impressive collection but what bugs me is the added perfumes in all their products and also using light liquid paraffin in most of their products. Also, they all have parabens too. I am not very choosy when it comes to ingredients but these seem a lot to me in general.

Keep reading to check out my experience on the products I tried.

INDRANI SHOWER GEL

Product Description:

Indrani Shower Gel is extremely refreshing and soothing as a result of its aloe vera content.  It’s a must-use gel for a bath daily.

My Experience:

I like the feel and the scent of this shower gel. It feels refreshing and cooling on the skin. The scent lingers for a few hours not too long on the skin. The consistency is runny and it does foam up really well and that because it has Cocodiethalonomide (used for its foaming properties based from coconut but broken down)

It doesn’t strip my skin and make it dry while cleaning it thoroughly which I really like. It does have perfume in it but it didn’t irritate my skin but if you have extra sensitive skin then skip it.

My Rating:

My Experience:

The texture of the scrub is creamy and very smooth. The granules look big but don’t hurt the skin since they are not gritty in texture. It does the job of polishing your skin really well. It’s good to use on elbows & knees or any other dry patches.
The scrub has light liquid paraffin in its ingredient list. Liquid paraffin helps to lock in moisture and helps to prevent skin itching, this ingredient is also a common addition to eczema creams. By fortifying the natural moisture barrier, liquid paraffin may be able to reduce symptoms of this skin condition. There is also a constant discussion where half say its good for your skin and half say it is not so it totally depends if you want to try something that has light liquid paraffin, but a lot of beauty products do have them in small quantities so always check the ingredients.

It does feel good on the skin and it does a good job of polishing your skin but I am not the biggest fan of the scent so its an okay product for me. I actually prefer using this on dry patches where I have thick skin especially my feet. This scrub can be used in pedicure and manicure since a lot of parlors do paraffin treatments for rough skin.

My Rating:

INDRANI LAVENDER MASSAGE OIL

Product Description:

Indrani Lavender Massage oil is one of those few products you can look up to for getting rid of acne troubles. The oil has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that can fight the bacteria that cause acne and inflammation. The oil has the ability to relieve itching and reduce the symptoms of eczema It also decongests the irritated areas on the skin by adding moisture, thereby accelerating the healing process. The antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties of lavender oil play a role in your skin. The oil is beneficial in healing the burns, and also helps treat the scars caused by them. In addition, lavender oil also acts as a pain reliever.

Soothing massage oil with lavender is good to obtain relaxation. Its nourishing properties make the skin look more supple.

Ingredients: Almond Oil, Lavender Oil, Propylparaben, Soybean oil, Light liquid paraffin

Price: ,,₹,150.00 & ,,₹,450.00 for 100 ml and 500 ml respectively

My Experience:

The oil does smell like lavender but somehow it still feels a little artificial maybe because it’s too strong. The scent kind of irritates my nose and that’s weird because I love lavender oil. Now since lavender oil is an essential oil it needs a carrier oil to work and the brand has used almond oil which is okay but I prefer sweet almond oil instead since almond oil clogs my pores and causes acne especially on my arms and stomach.

The texture is thick like an oil but it’s very slippy to the touch. It feels weird between my fingers. Now I don’t think I can use this on my body the scent alone scared me but I did use this as nail oil and to massage my feet and since this oil also has light liquid paraffin it made the nails soft. Not an ingredient I want in my body oil so I not the biggest fan of this.
