Ilana Organics All Time Moisturiser with Green Tea & Hyaluronic Acid
I fell in love with Ilana products after trying out their brightening serum & their moisturizer (old version). Where I did a 30 days challenge and I truly loved the combo. Not only I used them up I have repurchased them several times and taken the combo on some of my travels (before the covid). In 2020 the brand revamped its moisturizer and relaunched it with a new name so I obviously bought it immediately to test it out and see if I still love it or not. Product Description:
This is our reviving moisturizer with added Hyaluronic Acid, for that extra intense hydration, value for money, and bigger size. SMELL & TEXTURE IS JUST AS THE REVIVING MOISTURISER.
HOW TO USE: Apply a pea-size amount as a final step to your evening routine. Massage gently until absorbed. AS A SLEEPING MASK Massage a thick layer gently onto clean dry skin until absorbed. Leave on for 10 minutes to overnight. Gently remove with a warm wet washcloth for DEWY HYDRATED skin. Works best as a daily oil-free moisturizer.

Aloe Vera Juice, Ethylhexyl Olivate, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Polyglyceryl-4 Oliviate, Pomegranate Seed Oil, Green Tea Extract, Grapeseed Oil, Soy Lecithin, Rose Geranium Oil, Neroli Oil, Polysorbate 80, Hyaluronic Acid, Phenoxyethanol Ethylhexyl Glycerine. May contain: [+/- food grade preservatives in aloe vera gel Potassium Sorbate; Polysorbate 80].
The brand has added ingredients to make it more hydrating that lasts longer. Highlighted ingredients are the main additions.

Packaging:
The moisturizer comes in a glass jar packaging with a black plastic lid. It is simple and efficient packaging but it could be heavy to travel with since it’s made of glass. The new formula’s packaging is actually is a little bigger than the old one since the quantity is more. Required information (expiry date) is printed on the jar which I prefer since I never keep the box it comes in. The box obviously has more information so if you need it you can keep it. It doesn’t come with a spoon or small spatula. I think all jar packaging should come with a small spatula to scoop out the product so you can keep the cream inside the jar hygienic especially when it’s made of natural ingredients.
Formula:
The texture and feel are like applying milk to your skin. It feels lightweight and absorbs instantly on the skin. It is cream based and not anything like a gel but it doesn’t feel creamy or thick in any way and so doesn’t clog your pores either. The moisturizer does have a mild lemony scent to it which is natural and doesn’t have added fragrance of any kind.
This new formula has added benefits of Aloe-vera and hyaluronic acid which makes it perfect for all skin types including very sensitive and acne-prone skin. It is hydrating and moisturizing so works for all-weather and can be used by all. This new version also works really well with their brightening serum
Have to use the cream in 6 months once you open it otherwise it gets spoiled. The color and scent change after 5 months or so just finish it up inside those months or else don’t open it.
My Experience with Ilana Organics All Time Moisturiser
Whenever I apply Ilana Organics All Time Moisturiser I feel refreshed. I don’t know how to explain that feeling. I have used many moisturizers that are just as good if not better but whenever I apply this it soothes my skin and my senses. The scent of the product actually works for me in a good way. But I do know some just can’t bear any kind of scent even the natural kind then this one isn’t for you.
The hydration this moisturizer provides stays for longer. Skin feels plumper and softer. If you are someone who suffers from dehydrated skin constantly you would love to use this on a long term basis. For me, this moisturizer works all seasons. I use this in winter and summer, somehow I feel like the moisturizer adapts to my skin and treats it accordingly. But that could be because I always fall towards dry skin type.
If you are someone who loves using serums or oil-based treatments this moisturizer goes really well with all of them. I have used this with retinoid-based skincare and also with AHA & BHA. According to my experience, it works the best with BHA.
Difference between the old formula and the new formula:
The main differences are that this new version feels a lot lighter on the skin so acne-prone skin will enjoy this more. I personally thought the old version was also very lightweight but since I have dry skin my skin drinks up moisturizer like no other. Also, the hydration level is higher and more long-lasting. I used the old version as a quick mask this one I prefer to use as a moisturizer only.
What I like is that the scent on this is milder too compared to the old version. The color is also lighter compared to the yellow tint the old moisturizer had (frankly I had no problem with that). Overall I do think they improved the moisturizer and it’s definitely worth trying out.

Why you should buy it?
- If you are looking for a lightweight moisturizer that doesn’t clog your pores.
- Gives long-lasting hydration (at least 5-6 hours)
- It gives a natural base (not matte nor dewy)
- Works great under makeup
- One moisturizer that works day and night
- Doesn’t make you sweat once you apply sunscreen (a lot of thick cream moisturizers end up making you sweaty especially combined with sunscreen)
- If purchased at a discounted price it’s affordable since you don’t need much
Why you shouldn’t buy it?
- If you are someone who only loves gel moisturizers no matter what
- You already own enough moisturizers.
- If you have a very sensitive nose that can’t handle any kind of scent
- You fall under a skincare hoarder or if you use your products slowly since this needs to be used up inside 6 months.
- If you hate tub packaging
