Dot & Key Underarm Mask & Serum Review Post
The underarm is that part of our body we tend to ignore and not really care about. The max we do for it is using a deodorant even that most of the time isn’t right for us. The waxing, shaving, hair removal process causes more problems than we realize and nowadays almost all of us suffer from hormonal issues which make our underarms dark.
I suffer from the worst underarms ever so when I saw there is a product in the market available for it I just bought it. I have used other creams before but they all kind of gave me a rash or just did not work for me. I do have extra sensitive skin and I’m prone to rashes and allergic reactions and my underarms are sensitive in general anyway for all of us. I have used the mask for 4 months now and the serum for 2 months, I wanted to test it properly before giving my views on it. Read through to know what worked for me.

My Experience with Dot & Key Underarm Mask:
I have tried and seen a lot of underarm creams but not masks and especially a mask like this one. I truly love this mask. I have been using it for over 4 months now and I can totally say I love this and I would repurchase this when it gets over.
If you have mild texture or uneven skin tone then this mask is gonna show a difference in a month but I have terrible underarms and mine won’t completely be okay till my hormones are not in control but even then this mask has made a huge difference in my texture. I was suffering from severe rashes especially after hair removal and I had to stop using deodorant completely. I never suffered from underarm sweating but still, I have terrible dark patches. This mask not only helped me with my rashes it also helped me with little to no sweat and I don’t have to use deodorant because underarms don’t smell bad at all, in fact, but they also smell amazing and fresh all the time. It gives a cooling effect that stays for a day or two.
The best part of the mask is its scent, it smells amazing and it gives you that amazing fresh feeling without making your underarms dry and itchy. I don’t know how but it’s also moisturizing, even though it has Tea Tree oil. The scent is my fav thing but the packaging is amazing too.
Packaging:
The color, the cute tub it comes in is very classy and I love that. The tub is baby pink with a white screw cap with looks like frosting. But it has only the name printed on it and the rest of the information is on the cardboard box it comes in. So if you are someone who likes to keep the instruction you will have to keep the outer box or you can keep the card/leaflet that comes with it. There is also a tiny white spoon that comes with the tub.
How I like to use the Underarm mask?
I use this mask 2 times a week regularly. I would suggest don’t use your hands as the black charcoal stains your nails and you won’t get an even application. Use a brush and keep it separate for it. I apply directly and don’t mix anything, not even water, it’s not needed. It spreads easily and it doesn’t completely dry or gets stiff and cracky. It also doesn’t transfer and makes other stuff dirty either. I leave it on for 15 mins and then wash it off. I give it a slight exfoliation while removing it since it does have small particles which help in that. The particles are not harsh on the skin at all.
I also use this under my boobs. I know that sounds weird but seriously it really works. So a lot of us who are heavy-breasted suffer from pigmentation and discoloration under our boobs and we also sweat there especially in the summers. So I have been using this mask and it has helped me a lot in evening out the skin and also control the sweat and makes me feel fresh which I love.
Should you buy the underarm mask or not?
If you suffer from any problems or you don’t I would suggest getting this one. I feel like this is a must in all our lives even for boys/men. I’m pretty sure they would love this too if only they don’t mind applying it and sitting for 15 mins. If you suffer from severe underarm sweating this mask will really help you to a great extent so definitely give it a try.

My Experience with Underarm serum:
So when I heard that the mask works better if followed by the serum, I got the serum. Now I like the serum but between the mask and serum, I like the mask more and I can live without the serum. Have been using the serum for 2 months now. I do really love the packaging and that it comes with a pump.
My major problem with the serum is that I mostly forget to apply it. See this is what I’m talking about, I would never forget my face cream/serum but we neglect our body parts like our underarms all the time. We need to take care of it too, and that’s where this serum comes in because it’s a really good serum. It not only helps with pigmentation but it also makes your underarm smell really nice and you also sweat a lot less. I don’t sweat at all if I use the combination of mask plus this serum.
Formula:
The consistency is exactly like a regular serum lightweight and gets absorbed easily onto the skin. The scent is amazingly fresh and cooling on the skin and the scent lingers throughout the day. Don’t do a deodorant over it though. You really won’t feel the need anyway.
When and how to use the Underarm serum?
First, you need to have clean and dry underarms then you can apply this serum. You do need to apply this twice a day regularly to see a difference. Now depending on how bad is your condition, it will take that much time. You really have to be consistent with this and also it works better with the mask. Just the serum doesn’t do that much of a difference and takes way longer.
Should you get the Dot & Key underarm serum?
I would recommend this if you really wanna try this or if you really want something for your underarm pigmentation otherwise you can skip it. I’m saying so because you get only a 50 ml bottle and if you use 4 pumps of it every day morning and evening, the bottle will last you only for 2 months maximum 3 months which is a little expensive.

(Just because it takes longer to show any result compared to the mask)
*** You can use the mask and serum even after waxing/shaving it doesn’t burn or cause any kind of irritation. Also, you don’t need to remove your hair to use these two you can use either way. If you are someone who suffers from a bad case of underarm odor then definitely get these two it will help. You can use the mask three times a week instead of two times for the first month.
If you have mild to medium pigmentation the combination of mask and serum will solve your problems in 2 months but if you have severe problems then it’s gonna take a while. If you want to invest in one thing go for the mask. But if you want to see full-on results you need to use both. Hope you enjoyed this review.
Update after a year and a half:
Now I still like the mask but I don’t use it as often anymore. I prefer using AHA & BHA cleansers instead. As for the serum I did not repurchase and I must prefer the new Re’equil Unveil edition. It works way better comparatively. I have already other products do check them out.
