Packaging: I just love the packaging Disguise comes up with. The lipstick tube comes in a cute little box with details printed on it. The tube itself is green in color. It’s more of pastel green and the closure (cap) is magnetic which is amazing. You only get magnetic closure in high-end lipsticks and in Nykaa lipsticks. But I like this tube better because the shape is round.
The tube is made of high-quality plastic and the texture is matte, so it doesn’t slip from your fingers. It’s easy to travel with.
Formula: It’s a proper bullet lipstick in a semi-matte finish. The formula is matte but it’s nondrying. It does transfer a little (less compared to other bullet lipsticks). The texture while applying is smooth and it has the best ingredients ever. It has 11 shades in total.
My Experience with Disguise Lipstick:
I bought this lipstick at the Little Flea with their Rainbow Oil and I have truly loved the whole brand experience. The formula is smooth and creamy when you apply it, but it’s completely matte on the lips. Gives a more stain effect on the lips like the Mac retro matte lipsticks but it’s not drying like the Mac lipsticks so that’s a plus in my column. Also, it’s super pigmented in one swipe, two swipes give you full-color effect.
Any matte lipstick first tugs a little while applying but as soon as it warms up on contact it glides smoothly and so does this one. I usually always either liked the Maybelline lipsticks or the Mac lipsticks and I have recently liked using the Nykaa Ultra Matte but after using this, it has immediately taken the top place in my list.
It does have a regular lipstick smell but not the kind that makes you cringe. The scent is okay and dies down pretty quickly. Also if you are anything like me and eat your lipstick, this lipstick is safe if consumed BY MISTAKE as its made of all organic ingredients. (But please don’t eat it).
This lipstick lasts around 6 hours on me even if I eat or drink anything. It does transfer throughout the day but less every time. It obviously moves from the middle if you eat anything too oily or messy (which I always do) but it does leave a nice stain. This way your lips don’t look weird when the lipstick fades. It does come off with a wipe but leaves a light stain so use an oil-based remover. The re-application is very easy and doesn’t leave your lips crusty like the other matte lipsticks.
Disguise Satin Lipstick

When I was trying out the shades I was in no mood to get another pink so I went for this one. This is redder but with pink undertones. So it becomes quite a wearable dark red which will suit every skin tone. It is a pretty basic shade and you can obviously find it easily in other brands but somehow this lipstick just looks and feels a lot different than the others in the market.
If you don’t want too dark an effect on your lips apply with a light hand and blend it with a brush or fingers and dab it on the center of your lips. This will give you a stain colored look without looking too much.
