Packaging: I have said this before and I’ll say it again, packaging of theBalm products are always on point. The Bahama Mama bronzer is no less. It gives you the perfect vintage beachy vibes. It small and compact, made of cardboard but its very sturdy. Because its lightweight it is perfect for traveling too. It feels and looks like a small book. The closure is magnetic and of good quality. It also comes with a mini mirror inside which is convenient for on the go.
Formula: Its a neutral tone bronzer in satin finish (it doesn’t have shimmer). Its not powdery and feels like butter when you apply it. Blends easily and not super pigmented so you cannot go overboard. Its quite buildable and doesn’t look muddy or patchy. If you build it up properly it can be used as an eyeshadow too.
My Experience: I bought this as soon as theBalm was launched in India on Nykaa the first time. Which is a good thing because the prices were a little lower then. I wasn’t disappointed, I totally fell in love with it from the first moment I tried it. The texture is just beautiful. It is matte powder but because its so buttery it feels more like satin when you touch it. Goes on smoothly without looking muddy or patchy. Its long lasting too especially if set with a setting spray.
This shade works as contour too as its more on the neutral to cool tone side. I use this on full face of makeup and also on bare face on an everyday basis. It works great either way. I prefer using a more precise and dense brush for this as its not super pigmented. An angular contour brush works the best.
Its even a great tone for nose contour. This shade works for light to medium skin tone. Very dusky skin tone can try out the other new shades theBalm have come out with recently.
I know this is expensive for a bronzer but I would definitely recommend this as its one of the best bronzer/contour I have used. I would definitely repurchase this when it gets over or if by any chance I loose this one because its one of my most used products in my makeup collection and which is saying something as I do have a lot of makeup.
I think theBalm makes some really amazing quality products I just wish it wasn’t as expensive in India and little more easily available.
My Ratings: (I would give it 10 out of 5 anytime )

For reference: I have dull, dry to combination (my nose is oily) and sensitive skin and have pigmentation around my lips and on the outline of my face. I’m not prone to acne but I do get them and sometimes heat boils due to weather change which do leave marks sometimes. I have few blemishes too on my face. I have dark circles under my eyes.
