Dot & Key is known for its cute pastel color packaging and this one is no different. The tub is made of good quality plastic and doesn’t break easily saying that with the experience I did drop this a few times. The bottom is pastel translucent pink with a white opaque screw lid. It comes with a stopper inside. The tub comes in a pink box with all the required information on it like ingredients and usage. There is also a small white spatula inside the box which you can use to scoop out the product so you don’t contaminate it. the price and mgf and best before dates are stamped on the bottom of the tub too so if you throw out the box it comes in, you still will have the main information. Overall the tub is lightweight and sturdy so it can be traveled easily.

My Experience with Dot & Key Depuffing Undereye Cream:

So Dot & Key products are quite hit and miss for a lot of people. Either people love this brand or hate it I am more on the love part since they make one of my holy grail products which is their underarm mask but I guess this eye cream goes into my most loved product list. This one has a lot of different ingredients and they have used a bunch of them together for a good effect and it does pretty much everything it claims other than helping with the darkness.

This one helps in the following order:

• Cooling: it’s really soothing especially if you spend a lot of time on laptops and phones and have dehydrated under eyes.
• Hydrates: It hydrates really well without feeling heavy in fact in a min or two you won’t even feel the cream only softness
• Smoothens: If you have weird patchy skin and under-eye creasing then this does help with that it takes 2 months of consistent use but it does work up to 70 % in that area.
• Wrinkles & lines: If used for 3 months and more you will start seeing a reduction in lines around your eyes.
• Dark shadows or hollowness: If you have hollowness or also known as sunken eyes those are signs of fatigue and dehydration then definitely do give this under eye cream a chance it helps will take time but it does work.
• Dark circles: Also known as darkness now if you have mild darkness then this shows results if you have really bad dark circles well this doesn’t work for that.

Now coming to the formulation the texture is something between cream and gel and feels like a cloud when you touch it. It is light and airy. The color looks pastel pink in the tub but it is transparent. It does have a mild scent but unless you put in your nose inside the tub and smell you won’t smell anything. You need a very small amount and it spreads really easily and quickly. You will immediately see a plumping effect. Under eyes look hydrated and refreshed.

For the price, it’s good since the tub will last you 5 to 6 months easily even if used day and night. I sometimes take a little extra and apply it like an under-eye mask for a quick cooling hydrated effect since I spend a lot of time on my laptop and on my phone because of my work. Even typing this is causing a strain on my eyes

I also have very sensitive eyes but this doesn’t make my eyes burn or water even if the cream by mistake gets inside. I don’t recommend putting it inside but sometimes when you are clumsy and absent-minded like me it happens and I have to be prepared.

My Recommendation:

If you are looking for a good versatile under-eye cream that not only soothes and helps with puffiness but also sits well under a concealer then you would really like this no matter what your skin type is. If you have dry under eyes I would definitely recommend this at some point, if you have oily or normal under eyes with no major issues then obviously you can skip it but I would suggest getting this anyway and use it as a proactive step in your skincare I am sure you will thank me later. Also, this is a great dupe for the Ordinary Caffeine solution (in terms of benefits) and has a higher hydration level.
