Packaging: Its a small white bottle with gold ring on the dropper. The name and some information is printed in gold on the bottle. Most of the information is printed on the cardboard box it comes in. Mine was damaged in the transit and I anyway don’t save the boxes. The bottle is cute and easy to handle. Doesn’t cause any mess and its good for travel as there is no leakage. For the price the packaging is okay. The gold writing does disappear if you use and handle the bottle on an everyday basis because mine is fading.
Formula: Its a proper oil like its not a dry oil nor a very heavy oil, its more like a regular oil consistency (if you know what I mean). The oil looks yellow in color but goes on transparent on the skin. There are few gold flecks in the oil, you have to shake it before use to see them. Its not super glittery (like the Beauty Co. Rose gold oil) but you can see the glow on the skin as its super dewy. It is a moisturizing oil makes your face look plump and fresh.
My Experience: I actually bought this by accident. I was ordering the Beauty Co. Rose gold oil and I had this oil and the Beauty Co. one in my Nykaa wishlist and I put this in cart by mistake did not check and just ordered it. I also did not check when it came, I opened the box and saw inside the bottle was small and white that’e when I saw the name of the brand and I was like now what. I wasn’t gonna waste it so I obviously used it and I wasn’t disappointed anymore because I immediately fell in love.
This oil is perfect as a primer. It gives the perfect dewy base without giving you the glittery look, which is what I prefer most of the times. I have dry skin and even then two drops is enough of this oil. Makeup goes on smoothly on top, especially the foundation stick which are too dry or matte. You can also mix this with your foundation to give it a dewy look, but don’t mix it with a pure matte oil free foundation because it will break apart your foundation. But if you use this before you apply the foundation, its fine and doesn’t break the foundation down. ( I know that sounds weird). I usually mix it with my face cream and let it sit for 3 to 5 mins to get completely absorbed into my skin then go ahead with the foundation.
I wouldn’t recommend this to oily skin people out there unless you really love the dewy skin. I do set my face with powder and it still looks dewy. I avoid applying the oil on my nose as my nose is oily. Oily skin people can use this at night time and skip their moisturizer, this way you will wake up with super moisturized and hydrated skin. Since this oil doesn’t clog up your pores and doesn’t break you out either.
This oil is definitely hydrating and moisturizing and you can always just use it with a simple moisturizer or just by itself day and night. But I can’t say anything about it helping with fine lines and hyper pigmentation as I haven’t used it for that long and since I use many other oils and serums for reviews I can’t say for sure about those properties. But I do think if you use this regularly for a while it will help a little with pigmentation and dryness. I also mix a few drops of it with my body lotion and it makes my dry, rough texture legs feel amazing.
This oil is perfect for people who don’t want too many products and want one oil or serum for day and night without any fuss. This is good for normal to dry skin people since its super hydrating. Buy this when its on discount as it becomes more affordable but a little goes a long way so its definitely economical.
Tip: If there is a powder highlight you love but it looks too powdery on your face and doesn’t last long. Mix some of the powder highlighter with a drop of this gold oil and apply it on your high points and set it with powder on top and setting spray and you will glow like the Goddess for the rest of the day.
My Rating: 4/5
(I definitely love it and I’ll keep using it, but I’ll obviously use the rest of my oils and serums first before I repurchase this that’s why I have given it one less star)

For reference: I have dull, dry to combination (my nose is oily) and sensitive skin and have pigmentation around my lips and on the outline of my face. I’m not prone to acne but I do get them and sometimes heat boils due to weather change which do leave marks sometimes. I have few blemishes too on my face. I have dark circles under my eyes.
