Packaging:
Its a small palette with six deep pan eyeshadows. The base is black and has information printed on it. The top is clear and has the brand and palette name printed in white on it. The palette feels chunky in your hand, because the lid is very deep too.
There is no mirror or brush in the palette. The plastic is quite firm and sturdy and the lid closes with a click making it secure. Its the perfect size for travelling. The size of the pans are quite big even though the palette is small in size.
About the Palette
The color selection is quite versatile and will suit all skin tones from light to deep. The colors are all matte. The shadows are pigmented and they blend beautifully on the eyelids. While swatching few shades feel a little powdery and chalky but on the eyes they look like velvet.
The texture is quite smooth. They don’t necessarily need primer underneath but the lighter shades look better with a primer especially if you have pigmented eyelids.
They are long lasting and can be build on during the day if required without looking patchy. They come off easily with a makeup remover, no tugging on eyes is required.
The two browns do look a lot similar, but the bottom left brown is neutral to cool toned and the bottom right is a plum brown with red undertones. The burnt orange is a gorgeous transition shade.
The bottom middle shade is good for cleaning up and blending. It can also be used all over the lids and can be used as highlight shade for deeper skins and it feels like a satin shade.
The top cream shade can be used for highlight even though its matte, as their texture is more velvety.
The lavender shade when mixed with the bottom left brown will give a gorgeous mauve toned transition.
All in all this is an amazing matte palette to have in your collection. This palette is quite day time appropriate and can also be used to glam up your night time look. There isn’t any major fallout as the texture is quite creamy.
Its affordable if you break down the pricing to its pan quantity. This palette will definitely last you a while even if used regularly.
TIP: If you own their liquid Lingerie lipsticks this palette will compliment the shade range as its inspired by it. They pair well together.
