Packaging:
It’s a plastic tube with metal V-shaped applicator. Metal is known to be soothing around the eye area because of its coolness. I actually like this kind of packaging for eye creams but it depends on the formula and consistency of the eye cream and with this liquidy formula the packaging works but it does need to be shaken well before use. It’s easy to carry this around and travel with. The cap has a pin which closes the hole in the applicator therefor no spillage or leakage while traveling.
My Experience:
I am gonna start with that I don’t like this at all and I still got duped into buying this twice and both times I did not like it. So I had used this when it had first launched because it sounded interesting to me and the packaging was perfect so I went for it and I kept using it and it didn’t do anything for me. Like nothing at all. I did not even see a little difference so I stopped using it and I did not miss it at all, I was fine with not using it so I decided I won’t get this one again.
Then after a year or so I was at store and looking for an eye cream and The oils of life was out of stock so the sales representative in the store told me to try this and I told her no I don’t like it but she somehow convinced me that I used it wrong the first time and that I have to use it again and that this eye cream is their best seller which by the way is wrong because I checked online reviews mostly everyone don’t like this.
So I gave it another shot and this time I hated it. The formula was worst then before. This time the oil got separated from the cream and every time I tried removing some on my hand only water came out which smelled really bad. I had to shake it really hard to mix it well then removed it and it still smelled bad. The smell is chemically and it doesn’t irritate my eye but it irritated my skin around my eye so it defeated the purpose of soothing.
In short no, I don’t like it and I wouldn’t buy it again.
**Formula: The consistency is thin creamy and you can feel the lightweight oil in the cream when you spread. The cream has a tint to it which makes your under-eye look even-toned especially before going over with the concealer. It is lightweight and doesn’t feel greasy and it sinks into the skin completely in 5 mins and doesn’t make your under-eye oily. That is if the cream hasn’t already broken down and smells bad.
My Recommendation:
I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone I just don’t think this one works especially for the price. The Body Shop has better eyes cream in different ranges. Their best selling eye cream is the vitamin E one which costs Rs 875/-
My Rating:1/5
